The girl behind LIAV

I’m Lee. I’ve always loved jewellery. It’s the first thing I notice in someone’s outfit, and my husband has called me a magpie for years.

His family are jewellers, and I’ve spent countless hours in their shop, exploring pieces, chatting with customers and asking questions. Watching his father work at the bench at the back of the shop has given me a real appreciation for the care and skill behind each piece.

There wasn’t one moment when I decided to start LIAV. I was already thinking about designs and looking for inspiration every day. Eventually, I knew I had to do something with that love.

Along the way, I’ve gained access to a network of skilled craftspeople and workshops in London’s Hatton Garden, giving me the connections to help bring your ideas to life.

I just love diamonds. I think they are some of the most captivating things on the planet. I could happily spend hours looking at different shapes and watching how they catch the light. And as much as I love looking at them and wearing them, I get so much joy in helping someone find the one that feels perfect for them.

What I enjoy most is working directly with people, from exploring those first ideas to seeing their reaction to the finished piece. Having been through the bridal experience myself, I also love helping brides find the jewellery that feels right for them.
